The Idea

The Enterprise is entering a Gold Rush in terms of discovering value in the growing stream of real time events that is flowing through their systems. But like panning for gold discovering the few nuggets of value within that flow of events is an overwhelming task for systems and users alike. The value is there, if it can only be separated from the noise. When found it can enable gains in efficiency, security and growth across the Enterprise.

Enterprise environments are complex and simple business rules cannot manage the growing and changing event stream, they are too rigid, expensive and time consuming to create and change. This creates a large and growing problem, how to manage and extract value from this new wealth of information (i.e. RFID events).

We are building software to adaptively prioritize events in real time to determine which are important and require attention. This software will enable the discovery of information that unlocks efficiency gains, problem areas and growth areas within the enterprise. For example improving the efficiency of logistics, the security of networks or the power of trading systems.
